Week 11

Well we are finished with our body shaping class and our testing.  Unfortunatly neither of us won the $1,000 but the man who did sure did deserve it!  He was amazing.  Sorry it has taken so long to update everyone but Olivia was moving last week and we haven't had a chance to keep up with the blog.  We are back to working out and eating right after a week long hiatis and things seem to be going well.  There is no wieght loss to report this time but we will hopefully have something next week.  Hope everyone else is doing well and still trucking along.  Good Luck!

March 10

Week 10

Well this is it, the final week of our 10 week course.  We are so very excited and looking forward to seeing our final results.  We will have our final testing on Saturday, March 15th, where we will find out who the most improved person is out of all 9 classes combined.  And the best part of it all, who ever is the most improved, wins a $1000!  Talk about motivation :)  So here is to the last week of sweating it out before we find out who worked the hardest.  Oh and to our last week together :(  Olivia will be moving back to DC at the beginning of next week :(  We sure will miss each other but will continue our weight loss quest together, 1300 miles apart :)

March 03

Week 9

Alright, 8 weeks down and only 2 to go.  It is time to really make these last 12 classes count and try to get as much out of this experience as we can.  I guess the tough part is knowing that in 2 weeks we will be finished with the body shaping class and it will be up to us to keep moving and losing the weight.  That is a very scary thing to think about.  This class was our motivation and our constant.  And without it there, pushing us, each and every day, we will have to do it all on our own.  But we know that what we have learned in these past 8, soon to be 10, weeks is that we can do it and we will.  We only have a little bit more to go to be a 3rd of the way to our weight loss goals and we aren't going to quit until that last lb. falls off :) 

 

Another challenge we are facing is that Olivia is moving away, very far away.  Therefore, we will no longer have each other living next door in order to motivate us and frankly kick each other's a*#!  So I guess we are just gonna have to do it from 1,000 miles away.  And Brianne sure knows Olivia will follow through on that promise :)

February 26

Week 8

Well 7 weeks down and 3 to go.  We are still attending our body shaping classes and doing the best we can on the nutritional plan.  Brianne was sick this past week and it looks like Olivia is getting it now, so it is going to be tough to maintain but we will keep on trucking. Hopefully this will just motivate us to try harder in the coming weeks to make up for lost time.  Hope everyone else is staying above the weather and doing well.  Good Luck to all!!

February 18

Week 7

Well it is on to week 7 and we are so excited to almost be done with our 10 week body shaping class.  And even though we haven't lost all the weight we had wanted to thus far, we are still motivated to keep it going.  Our coaches keep telling us that the majority of the results happen in the last 3 weeks anyway, so heres to hoping. :)  We hope that all of you are still doing well and wish everyone good luck as their weight loss journey continues.

February 11

Week 6

Well we had our 5 weeks testing and it went great.  We both improved on every aspect and are still continuing to lose weight.  The nutritional plan went better this week as well.  We have 5 weeks left in our class and we will keep giving it all we've got!  Good Luck to all and keep up the good work!

February 04

Week 5

Well this week was a tough one.  We had several mishaps in our nutritional plans and weren't quite as good as we were in weeks past.  But we are going to get back on track this week and hopefully get the lbs. to start dropping again.  At the end of this week is the mid-way point in our body shaping class, so we will be anxious to find out how much we have improved!  Thanks again to all the awesome comments.  They are very encouraging!

January 28

Week 4

Ok so the start of week 4 is a little disheartening.  We have both been loosing weight steadily but this week we seem to have hit a snag.  Still a loss is a loss and 1lb. is better than nothing. :)  So we will keep on truckin and hopefully this coming week will be better.  We only have 2 weeks left until we reach the halfway point in our body shaping class.  At the end of the five weeks, we will do a series of tests exactly like the ones we did at the start of the class to see how much we have improved.  We are both a little nervous about the evaluation, especially the mile run.  But we will think positively and keep on keepin on.  Thanks for all the helpful and positive comments from each of you!  They are very encouraging and much appreciated!

January 21

Week 3

Well we have finished week 2 and we're ready to jump into week 3!  We haven't missed a body shaping class yet and we are still maintaining our nutritional plans.  We have become very creative with what we are eating, that's for sure. Thank you to those of you who have posted some wonderful recipes on your sites.  They are very helpful and extremely delicious!  If we find any new ones, we will be sure to share.  :)
We just want to say how proud we are of everyone who is taking this step to change their lives.  You are all truly amazing people and we wish everyone the best of luck on this journey.

January 12

Week 2

Ok so we have just finished our first week of our bodyshaping classes and boy was it fun and exhausting all at the same time.  We did 3 classes of kickboxing and 3 classes of resistance band training.  The nutrition part was a little hard to get used to but we think we both have the hang of it now.  We have some great coaches who are there every step of the way challenging us and supporting us in everything we need.  This is going to be a long journey but we are sure we can make it.  If y'all want a quick look at our progress, check out our tickers on our space homepage that measures our weight loss weekley.  Thanks to everyone who has signed onto our space and wished us well.  We are trying to visit everyone's space and post something on their boards, so be looking for us to stop by soon.  Good luck and happy weight loss :)

Week 1

So its January 5th and Brianne and I are starting the beginning of the rest of our lives....  We are new friends who met through our jobs earlier in 2007, but today we become each others support systems.  Today is the day we start losing the weight we have gained since our high school years.  We will both be taking a body shaping class at a local fitness center for the next 10 weeks.  Not only is it an exercise program, but also a nutrional plan.  We will be there to support each other every step of the way and we know that in the end we will be successful.  So here are our current stats and what we would like to be when we finish our journey.
